As part of the lead up to our annual Book Fair, we are reading and learning about children who live around the world.  To kick things off, we read about Polina, a 7-year old girl who lives in St. Petersburg, Russia.   This week, we will be following the day of Geeta, a little girl from the village of Janla in Odisha, India. Both of these places (and the other countries we will visit along the way) are far, far away from Carlisle.
